Bahrain is a small kingdom on the Persian Gulf in the Middle East. The richness of kerosene and natural gas makes – like its neighbors – Bahrain a very rich country.
Bahrain is definitely less visited by tourists than Qatar or the Arab Emirates. Due to the small area it can be circumvented quite quickly.

It is strictly forbidden to bring several goods into Bahrain, including weapons, drugs and pornography.
Vaccination and insurance required
Vaccinations are not required. However, it is advisable to take out insurance valid in this country. The more that medical care is relatively expensive. For a medical visit you will pay up to $ 120 (about PLN 500), and for a night in the hospital – up to $ 500
Tourists are warned against thefts and riots that occur in this country. Bomb attacks have also happened here since 2011.
You must follow Muslim moral standards, so do not wear clothes that expose the body excessively, and during Ramadan, refrain from drinking, eating and smoking in public during the day, and even … chewing gum!
One should not enter mosques and Muslim prayer houses without a guide.
During the first 6 months of your stay you can travel Bahrain by car, based on an international or Polish driving license. “Outside the military zones, there are no restrictions on moving around the country,” adds the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
